Meet the press.
Based on the 2010 MIT report “The Future of Natural Gas,” this series of fractional ads was created to highlight the favorable findings that definitively support the increased role of natural gas in our nation’s energy mix. The creative incorporates prominent press coverage from Forbes and The New York Times. The series is running in national print publications over a three-month period in conjunction with the “What Are We Waiting For" campaign.
What Are We Waiting For?
American Clean Skies Foundation (ACSF) is currently running a national multi-media campaign targeting policy makers, industry leaders and academics. The campaign is anchored in print, including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Newsweek and The Wall Street Journal, along with various other Hill publications. The campaign strongly encourages reduced dependence on foreign resources in favor of a clean, abundant domestic resource: American natural gas. It also highlights the steady influx of much-needed clean-energy jobs its increased use would mean for our country. A long-copy format was recommended, accompanied by custom, editorial-style illustrations. The bold call to action “What Are We Waiting For?” is the centerpiece of the campaign.
Station Domination
Time to dominate. The 2009 ACSF campaign included a “station domination” package at the heart of D.C.’s metro system: the Capitol South station. It comprised a 30-day takeover of all visual elements, including floor graphics, pillar wraps, posters, dioramas, overhead soffits, et al. Bright, bold, clean graphics were created to reach the target in an unexpected venue, further driving home the one-ready solution messaging.
Bus Wraps
Get on the bus. In 2010, D.C. metro CNG buses have again been fully wrapped and deployed in a 4-mile run in circumference of the nation’s capital. The designs feature bright, clean, bold graphics with a dominant presence for the campaign theme “What Are We Waiting For?” to achieve maximum visual impact.
