When Marlin was acquired by Remington, we jumped at the chance to assemble a new creative marketing strategy for the brand. Using intense market research and in-depth knowledge of the industry and target, we developed catalog, print, web and TV efforts to position the seemingly old-school brand as a legitimate player in the modern centerfire rifle market.

The Marlin lever gun is a timeless design revered for its speed in the woods and classic looks. Its old-school appeal got a big ballistic shot in the arm with the advent of the 308 Marlin Express cartridge. This ad communicates our new cartridge closes the gap between traditional lever-action rifle cartridges and the best of today’s flat-shooting big-game rounds.
